| Zamalek count on home support ![]() Capral (middle) said the fans are vital to Zamalek's efforts Zamalek believe home support will tip the scales in their favour when they bid for a record fifth African Champions League title against Raja Casablanca. The second leg of the final is played in Cairo on Friday. Zamalek, winners of the title in 1984, 1986, 1993 and 1996, held their Moroccan opponents to a goalless draw in the first leg. Raja also have a pedigree in the competition, winning in 1989, 1997 and 1999. "The Zamalek fans will be player number 12," Brazilian coach Carlos Roberto Capral said at their training ground on Wednesday. "When we played in Casablanca we played against the supporters, against a full stadium. "To play at home with the supporters behind you makes a difference," he said. Capral said his players composure will decide the Cairo tie. "Football is about the moment, who shows more confidence, more power, more emotional control," he said. Zamalek defended hard in Morocco, where the poor condition of the pitch prevented the sides from showing their skills. But Capral believes it will be a different ball game in Cairo. "Here we will play on a very good ground. There (in Morocco) it was impossible to play football. "We are prepared to face this strong, good team," Cabral said. With an injury-free side at his disposal, Capral is looking forward to lifting the trophy. "I'm more anxious than excited. This cup is very important for any coach," he said. |
