Kotoko take on Wydad
Asante Kotoko and Wydad Athletic Casablanca have qualified for the finals of the African Cup Winners Cup.

Kotoko completed their rout of Congolese side AS Police with a 3-2 win in Brazzaville to qualify 7-2 on aggregate.

Sidoine Beaullia gave Police a 31st minute lead but Michael Osei got the equalizer for Kotoko.

Kwadwo Pokou and Shillah Alhassan subsequently added their names to the Ghanaian scoresheet.

Cyrille Diazayakana scored the Congolese club's second goal in the 91st minute but it was not enough to halt the rampaging Ghanaians.

In Algeria, Morocco's Wydad took the lead twice to draw 2-2 with USM Algiers.

After a 0-0 draw in the first leg, the Moroccans qualify on the away goals rule.

Khalid Khama's 32nd minute header put Wydad in the lead but Issaad Bourahli's equalizer in the 53rd put the Algerians back into the encounter.

USM's chances of making the finals ended when Abdelhak Ait Arif scored from the penalty spot for Wydad after Abdouni committed a foul.

Bourahli's second goal in the 85th ensured a draw for coach Ali Ferghani's side.

Wydad's victory gives their Argentinian coach Oscar Fullone a chance of winning his third African title.

Fullone won the Champions League with ASEC Abidjan in 1998 and Raja Casablanca the following year.

The Moroccans have the arduous task of playing the decisive second leg tie against Kotoko on 8 December in Kumasi.
