Kenya hold Egypt
Kenya fans
Kenya fans remain furious
The first leg of the controversial All-Africa Games Group 5 qualifier between Egypt and Kenya has ended in a goalless draw in Port Said.

There were few chances for either side in a tight, fraught game in which the tensions between the two sides were clearly visible.

The Kenyans are furious that the second leg of the tie is also to be held in Port Said, on Thursday.

Caf made the decision yesterday, meaning that Kenya would not enjoy home advantage for either of the games - infuriating the Kenyan management.

The situation is the fallout of the last-minute withdrawal of Sudan, Uganda and Ethiopia from the Group 5 format.

All three teams claimed Egypt had reneged on promises to pay for expenses, and were pulling out in protest.
