Addo unrepentant
Fifa president Sepp Blatter was accused of impropriety by Addo
Addo says Blatter's decision to remove him was wrong
Caf's first vice-president Farah Addo has said his removal from Fifa's referees committee was unfair.

"For someone who has been president of his own association for 25 years and worked hard for Fifa for 12 years, it was not right to do that.

"But this is now the past. Fifa don't need me, and I don't need Fifa," Addo told BBC Sport Online.

Before the Fifa presidential elections in May, the Somalian had accused Sepp Blatter of using dirty tricks to keep himself in office.

Blatter went to court to have Addo banned from repeating the allegations.

Addo is adamant that he has evidence to prove that a member of the Somali FA was offered a bribe to back Blatter during the election battle.

Addo and Uefa president Lennart Johannson, another critic of Blatter, met at the opening of the new Caf headquarters on Sunday.

But the Caf vice-president says the outward show of friendship between the two camps is a facade.

"The good relations are just a formality. People are pretending.

"It's just diplomacy. There's a clash of personalities, and that will remain."

Addo said he would remain with Caf, despite his current problems with Fifa.
