Astros won all 11 league matches in winning the Jersey title this season

Jersey champions Astros beat Guernsey's Nashcopy 25-15, 25-18, 15-25, 25-21 to win the Upton at Haut Valle school.

"It was great," captain Bero Bobus told BBC Jersey. "Possibly our best of the season. We've struggled with injuries and for once had a full side out."

Nashcopy ladies beat 2e2 Tigers in straight sets in the women's Upton, 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

In the junior inter-insular, Jersey's youngsters beat Guernsey in a very close encounter, 25-23, 12-25, 15-11.
