In 15 outings at the All England Club her best return has been the fourth round, although the last time she reached the second week was 1996.

In 2003 Frazier finished outside the top 50 for the first time in 15 years, but she has bounced back this season.

Her efforts were helped by victory in Hobart, her seventh WTA tour title but the first for five years.

That victory helped push her back up the rankings and proved a filip ahead of the Australian Open where she reached the third round, her best effort in Melbourne since 1995.

Her build-up to the French Open was also buoyed by a good performance in Vienna, but she failed to carry it over and lost in the first round at Roland Garros.

At Wimbledon Frazier will be hard pressed to match or better her Grand Slam best of quarter-final appearances at the Australian in 1992 and the US Open three years later.
