The French number four has enjoyed a fantastic six months, starting with France's Fed Cup win at the end of 2003 and winning her first two titles. After nine years on the tour, Loit comes into Wimbledon well placed to try and make the second week of a Grand Slam for only the second time.
Her only strong early-season outing was in Bogota where she reached the tournament's semi-finals.
But in April she picked up back-to-back titles in Casablanca and Estoril.
She swept through 11 consecutive matches in both events, as well as the Fed Cup win against Germany, taking her ranking to a career high of 27.
The edge may have been taken off her game, however, after she withdrew from Berlin due to a foot injury and then lost her comeback match against Elena Likhovtseva in Rome.
