Coria will be short of confidence after his French Open final debacle when he lost from a magnificent position. Deemed as the overwhelming favourite against fellow Argentine Gaston Gaudio, a mixture of cramp and nerves saw him let a two-set lead slip.
Prior to that, Coria had notched up a remarkable 31 straight wins on clay, winning the Monte Carlo Masters and reaching the Hamburg final.
But he notoriously struggles on grass and could well do so again.
Coria may be a clay-court specialist but he has shown he can also be a threat on the faster surfaces by reaching the final of the Miami Masters in March.
Coria is one of the quickest players around and his ability to scrap from the back of the court is unmatched by any of his contemporaries, bar perhaps Lleyton Hewitt.
His weaknesses are his fitness and his mental frailty.
A groin strain prevented him competing in the Rome Masters in May, while a blister on his hand hampered him in the Hamburg final against Roger Federer.
