Jersey's Simon Johnson saved five match points to reach the last four of the boys' 14 and under draw at the Jersey Junior Open tournament.

Johnson beat Cornish player James Wright 3-6 7-6 1-0 in the quarter-finals to set up a meeting with fellow islander Max Vasiliou.

Vaisliou's passage through came with a win over fifth-seed Finn Leverton.

Number one seed Jack Long-Martinez will take on sixth-seed Oliver Tyrrell in the other semi-final.

Jersey's Scott Clayton is through to the boys' 18 and under semi-finals, while Audrey Bois has made it into the knockout stage of the girls' 18 and under draw, where she will meet her doubles partner Marianne Leroux from France.
