Jersey's Aidan Varela has won the boys' nine and under singles final at the BNP Paribas Jersey Open Junior Tournament at the Caesarean Club. Varela beat George Galins in Tuesday's final, following his semi-final triumph over top seed Daniel Long-Martinez. In the boys' 16 and under draw, Scott Clayton, Dan Harrison and Max Vasiliou are all through to the quarter-finals, In the girls' 16 and under, Audrey Bois and Nicole Moir are both on course for a place in the knockout stages.
