West is a full-time coach at Guernsey Tennis Club

Guernsey's tennis team are preparing to launch their bid to reclaim the Senior Inter-Insular title this weekend.

Jersey won the prestigious tournament last year, but Guernsey's squad for the 2010 edition will boast four Island Games stars including Rob West.

West will captain the squad, with Dominic McLuskey, Chris Hickling and Nico Robinson in support.

The women's squad will be skippered by Jo Robinson, who has won the Guernsey Closed tournament 20 times.

Robinson will be joined by Clare Randall, who plays at National League standard in the UK, and Catherine Deller, who recently arrived in Guernsey having played for Cambridge University.

Jo Dyer and Georgina Denton complete the women's line-up.
