Guernsey's Heather Watson has reached the quarter-finals of the Tangipahoa Tennis Classic in Louisiana. The unseeded Sarnian beat fifth seed, Australia's Monique Adamczak, 6-4 6-4 and will now play China's Shuai Zhang in the last eight. It follows Watson's victory over Czech star Nicole Vaidisova. The 17-year-old and fellow Briton Naomi Broady are through to the semi-final of the doubles, where they face Americans Christina Fusano and Courtney Nagle.
