Alex Bogdanovic moves into round two of the Jersey ATP tournament

Alex Bogdanovic moved comfortably into the second round of the AEGON Pro-Series in Jersey with a 6-1, 6-4 defeat over wildcard entry Joshua Milton.

But Joachim Johansson, the former world number nine, failed to make it past the first round, losing in straight sets to Jan Minar.

The women's draw gets underway on Wednesday, when Guernsey teenager Heather Watson will be in action.

Watson, 16, is due to take on the world number 498, Jade Curtis.
