Jersey and Guernsey's best young tennis players will get the chance to sample top quality tournament tennis later this month. More than sixty international players will be converging on Jersey for the Caversham ATP tournament beginning at Les Ormes on 9 November. And Jersey and Guernsey's best young players have been playing each other for the right to be involved. Twelve players in three age groups will get the chance to play. The girls and boys winner from the u-18, u-14 and u-10 age groups will play their Guernsey counterparts during the ATP event. Channel Islands Lawn Tennis Association Development Officer Hugh Raymond said: "This is a great opportunity to feel what it is like to play in front of an audience. "They'll have ball boys and girls and umpire and officials and also witness at first hand what some professional players go through when they are on centre court for the first time." Australian Davis Cup player Chris Guccione is the highest ranked player at 100, to have entered the tournament, while Alex Bogdanovic is the top UK Player.
