Netani Talei scores a try on his Worcester comeback

Worcester forward Netani Talei looks set to leave Sixways in the summer.

Netani Talei went over for a late comeback try in his first game for Worcester Warriors' 'A' since November after a shoulder injury.

But, despite scoring after coming on for the last 20 minutes, the back-row forward ended up on the losing side as Northampton fought back to win 25-23.

Worcester took a 13-0 lead after an impressive opening quarter, including a well-worked try from wing Rico Gear.

But two tries from Will Dunkley saw Northampton take a match-winning lead.

A late yellow card for Marcel Garvey summed up the second half for Warriors before Talei's surge produced a late positive.

All Black centre Sam Tuitupou also came on in the second half as coach Mike Ruddock looked for game time for his squad.
