Three more players to leave Worcester Warriors

Worcester Warriors are set to release three more players, but young scrum-half Jonny Arr has signed a new two-year deal.

Calum MacRae, Netani Talei and Ryan Powell will all be leaving Sixways.

Fiji international back-row Talei has missed much of the season with injury, while ex-Edinburgh back MacRae has has little chance to shine since joining.

Welsh international scrum-half Powell lost his place to Arr after an injury kept him out of the side in December.

Powell's release will increase speculation that Worcester will be signing an experienced scrum-half, with Arr and Ollie Frost the only others on the club's books at the moment.

Arr is another player to come through the Worcester ranks, having played for the club since he was six.

Director of rugby Mike Ruddock has already told BBC Hereford & Worcester that props Olivier Sourgens and Shaun Ruwers will leave the club at the end of the season.

And Ruddock says it is also unlikely that centre Dale Rasmussen and wing Rico Gear will be at Sixways next season.
