Matt Jones is in the Warriors' sevens line-up for Twickenham

Worcester Warriors Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock has named a 12-man squad for the Middlesex Sevens at Twickenham this Saturday (16 August).

Warriors, who finished as runners-up last season to Newcastle Falcons, have drawn Bristol in the first round.

Ruddock's squad has an exciting mix of experience and youth for the team's first competitive outing this season.

New signing Matthew Jones will make his Warriors debut, with Matt Powell skippering the side.

There will be reports from Twickenham in Sport on Saturday on BBC Hereford and Worcester.

Worcester Warriors start the Guinness Premiership season at Northampton on Sunday 7 September. And BBC Hereford and Worcester will bring full commentary on all the Warriors' Premiership games.
