Jones has just over five weeks to ready his squad for the new season

Sale Sharks have named their squad for the pre-season Challenge Vaquerin Competition in southern France starting this weekend against Montpellier.

The first game for the 26-man Sharks squad will include new signings David Bishop, Gavin Kerr, David Seymour and Jack Forster.

Head coach Kingsley Jones said: "We are taking all senior players and several up and coming youngsters.

"All players will get some game time," he added.
