Saints forward Wilson not satisfied with single trophy

Northampton Saints must keep improving if they are to secure a top four Premiership finish, according to back row forward Roger Wilson.

Saints edged home against Wasps on Saturday to stay on course to qualify for the end of season play-offs.

Wilson told BBC Radio Northampton: "We've got to keep the momentum going. If you can't step up a level, all the effort you've put in goes to waste.

"We don't want to rest on the LV= Cup, we're desperate to win another."

The 28-year-old from Northern Ireland was named Man of the Match in the 14-9 win against Wasps, scoring his first try of the season.

"There are no easy games, every team in the league are playing for something at the moment," he said.

"We want to get as high as we can [in the Premiership] and get a home semi-final, that's all the inspiration we need."
