Harper signed strikers Ebigbo and Elliot Charles in the same week

Kettering Town manager Lee Harper says striker Pascal Ebigbo is showing promise since joining in early March.

The Nigeria Under-23 international scored his first goal for the Poppies in the 2-2 draw with Mansfield.

"We were trying to give him an opportunity without upsetting the team much, because we were doing well," Harper told BBC Radio Northampton.

"He's got pace to burn. We've got work to do with his touch but if he gets in the area, he'll work the keeper."

Ebigbo has made three substitute appearances for the Poppies, but was unused in the matches against Grays Athletic, Oxford United and Forest Green.
