Rushden and Diamonds boss Justin Edinburgh will rotate all five strikers during the end of season run-in.
With seven games remaining in the Blue Square Premier, Diamonds lie 4th.
Edinburgh told BBC Radio Northampton: "We've got five good strikers at the club, and I'll look to rotate as much as I can.
"We rest the ones who aren't firing, and the ones that come in seize their moment. That's worked well, with four on around ten [goals] or more.
It could be good news for teenage forward Sam Smith, who has yet to make a start for Diamonds this season after appearing seven times in 2008/09.
"Sam has had to be patient this season," said Edinburgh.
"He's a young boy learning his trade, and he's probably learnt more this year from watching and training with these guys than last year."
Diamonds have four games in twelve days, starting with a trip to local rivals Kettering Town.
"It's an intense period. We're a small squad but luckily we've been fortunate with injuries, and hopefully that'll continue," said Edinburgh.
