Craig Farrell's second-half strike ensured Rushden & Diamonds beat AFC Wimbledon and extended their unbeaten run to seven matches.
Farrell struck after the break, firing a shot past Dons keeper James Pullen from 12 yards.
The hosts could have been ahead by then but Will Hendry wasted the best chance, firing straight at keeper Dale Roberts.
Rushden remain well set for the play-offs in fourth spot but are 11 points off leaders Stevenage Borough.
