Lobbe has made 19 Saints appearances this season

Northampton's former Argentina lock Ignacio Fernandez Lobbe thinks the Saints' talented youngsters can look forward to a bright future.

"This is still a young team," the 34-year-old second row, who won 60 caps, told BBC Radio Northampton.

"There are only a few of us who are over 30 with lots of experience of playing in the league. So I think next season will be even better for us.

"We're still growing up as a team, and that's good for the future."

Lobbe is set to feature against former club Sale Sharks at Franklin's Gardens on Saturday as Saints look to return to winning ways after losing their two-year unbeaten home record against Newcastle Falcons last time out.
