Golding (left) and Murray were briefly on the park together against Sale
Newcastle prop Jon Golding is excited by the prospect of teaming up with new Falcons front row signing Euan Murray.
"Murray is a fantastic player, he has so much experience and he's a quality player," Golding told BBC Newcastle.
"He's proven that time and time again and I'm looking forward to getting out there with him."
The 30-year-old Scotland tight-head prop, who joined Falcons in December following his release by Northampton, made his debut on Friday against Sale.
Golding, who has been limited to just six appearances this season after an Achilles injury in October, made a second-half return from the bench in Friday's 19-19 draw, which included a brief, 20-minute spell packing down with Murray.
"It's fantastic to be back," said Golding. "It's been a bit too long that I've been out.
"I got about 30 minutes against Sale. I felt pretty good, I didn't feel too unfit, as I expected to feel pretty sluggish.
"I'm looking forward to getting more game time against Montpellier, and keep building to get back up to where I was."
The former Northampton and Rotherham loose-head prop is yet to earn full England honours.
But he lined up against the Barbarians at Twickenham in last May and was involved against the Australian Barbarians on the summer tour down under in 2010.
