Homer (left) and Corbisiero will stay with Irish until the 2012/13 season |
London Irish pair Alex Corbisiero and Tom Homer have both agreed new two-year contracts with the Premiership club. United States-born prop Corbisiero, 22, joined Irish's academy in 2005 and has since made 50 senior appearances and scored four tries. Homer joined the club in 2008 and has played 34 times for the senior side at full-back, wing or centre. The 20-year-old marked his debut in dramatic style in November 2008 with two tries against Saracens. Head coach Toby Booth told the club website: "Alex and Tom have had a major impact both in the Premiership and international rugby since they graduated from our academy to the senior squad. "We're delighted that they have extended their contracts as they will have key roles to play in realising the ambitions of this club."
