Gulliver's loan at Welford Road is scheduled to end on 30 November |
Leicester Tigers have signed lock Ben Gulliver from Championship side Cornish Pirates on a three-month loan. The 29-year-old former Coventry and Plymouth Albion forward moved to the Pirates in 2008. Gulliver made 19 starts for the Pirates last season, and was a key member of their British & Irish Cup winning side. Pirates chief executive Rod Coward said: "There is no doubt that Ben will benefit from the experience, which is a huge opportunity for him." He added: "Also, at the same time there are both short and long-term benefits for the club in such an arrangement, and we are pleased with the loan agreement."
