Cockerill has won back-to-back Premiership titles

Leicester Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill has said his squad is shaping up well ahead of their final warm-up to the new season.

The Tigers face Leinster in a friendly at home on Friday.

Cockerill told BBC Radio Leicester: "We've got a good squad and we've prepared well."

Leicester, who have won the Premiership for the last two seasons, start their league campaign away to Northampton Saints on 5 September.
