Ben Gulliver has become the second Plymouth Albion forward to agree a move to Cornish Pirates in two days. The 27-year-old lock will follow back-row Jannie Bornman to Penzance in the summer as the Pirates look to bulk up their squad for the 2008-09 season. Gulliver was a team-mate of Pirates' winger Jimmy Moore at Coventry and has played for England students. He is the ninth player to newly commit himself to the Pirates for next season as they look to push for promotion. The move means Albion will be in the market for at least two new forwards as they look to plug the gaps left by the departures of Gulliver and Bornman.
