The future of Cornish Pirates skipper Tim Cowley is still in doubt. Speculation that the New Zealand-born number eight could be joining French side Bourgoin next season has been circulating around Cornwall. "That's unofficial as yet," Pirates spokesman Phil Westren told BBC Radio Cornwall. "Those things will be released when they are official." He would be the third Kiwi to leave at season's end following Jersey-bound Nick Buckley and Nathan Kemp. Cowley has been with the club since May 2004 when he signed from Manchester after they were relegated from National League One. The 30-year-old has been a popular figure in the squad ever since and was part of the National Trophy winning team at Twickenham last May.
