Cornish Pirates forward Chris Cracknell has impressed England's Sevens coaches after training with the side this week. Despite not being picked for the final squad for the IRB tournaments in Hong Kong and Adelaide, Cracknell's skills have left a mark on coach Ben Ryan.
"Chris has matured as a player over the last two years and deserved a chance to train with the squad," said Ryan.
Cracknell could still figure in the tournaments as he has been put on stand-by in case of any injuries.
