Leeds head coach Neil Back has confirmed they are in discussions with two potential new signings.

The Guinness Premiership newcomers have already signed six new players this summer ahead of the new season.

"We are talking to a couple of players that we potentially could get in," Back told BBC Radio Leeds.

"But if we recruit other players it will be a bit of cream on top of the cake because I'm very happy with the squad we have here."

Back added: "If we can get those extra one or two players then fantastic, but if not then I'm happy with what we've got.

The Yorkshire side are currently out in France as part of their pre-season preparations and face Top 14 outfit Montauban on Friday evening (kick-off 1700 BST).

New signings Marco Wentzel, Gareth Hardy and Ceiron Thomas will all make their debuts in that encounter, with Wentzel captaining the side.

Leeds: Goodridge; Welding, Hepworth, Paul, Armstrong; Thomas, Mathie; Hardy, Ma'asi, McGee; Lund, Wentzel (c); Myall, Fourie, Oakley.

BBC Radio Leeds will have full match commentary of every Leeds Guinness Premiership game and Anglo-Welsh Cup matches, plus home European games.
