Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney has swooped to sign Leeds Carnegie duo Dan White and Scott Freer on season-long loan deals. Scrum-half White, 20, will compete for a starting spot with United States international Tim Usasz. And Freer, 21, can play tight head prop and hooker and has been signed to provide cover in the front row. Delaney said: "I am delighted. We have two outstanding prospects and they will provide competition in key areas." Both players made their Leeds debuts against Manchester last September and were also involved with the England Under-20s squad. The pair have travelled to Aldershot with the team for a pre-season training camp.
