Boer played for the Cherry and Whites for seven seasons |
Former Gloucester captain Jake Boer believes his future lies in rugby, and potentially in England with Gloucester. The 35-year-old flanker, thought to be considering a coaching/mentoring role, told BBC Gloucestershire: "It's looking more and more like I will be back. "It's 'watch this space' in terms of what I will be doing, but if all goes well then I'll be back and hopefully part of a winning formula next season." Boer played for the club from 2000 to 2007, rejoining them in October 2009. His appearances last season were limited by calf, hamstring and eye injuries.
