Gloucester prop Paul Doran-Jones keeps Saxons place
Doran-Jones has one full England cap
Gloucester prop Paul Doran-Jones is expecting a physical battle with Italy A when he makes his second appearance for England Saxons on Sunday.
The 24-year-old featured in last week's 17-13 win over Ireland A and is one of only six players from that team to keep their starting spot.
He told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "Italy will be very physical at scrum-time and maul-time.
"They are a force up front. We have done a lot of scrummaging in training."
He added: "Last week was a hard-fought win as Ireland had an experienced side out and we were quite a young side.
"I thought we came together well and played some good stuff."
Doran-Jones earned his first England senior cap as a replacement against Argentina in November after only seven starts for Gloucester.
"It's awesome to play for England at any level and I am delighted to pull the shirt on," he said.
"It's been a stop-start season for me but it's nice to get another game."
Gloucester lock Dave Attwood is on the bench for the Saxons, with Nick Wood named as a reserve, while Luke Narraway has returned to Kingsholm ahead of Sunday's LV Cup game at Harlequins.
