Exeter's Drew Locke suspended for sevens finals

Locke signed for the Chiefs from Coventry in January

Exeter Chiefs will be without Drew Locke for the finals of the Premiership Rugby Sevens on Friday after he was sent off in the qualifying tournament.

Locke, 23, admitted a charge of lifting contrary to the laws of the game and will be suspended for one week.

The Chiefs passage to the finals of the tournament came courtesy of wins against Bath and Gloucester last week.

Northampton, Saracens, Harlequins, Newcastle and Sale are the other teams through to the finals.

The finals of the tournament will be held at Bath's Recreation Ground on Friday evening.
