Rowe is a product of the Raiders' development programme |
Plymouth Raiders have secured the services of power forward Anthony Rowe for another season. The 24-year-old first joined the Raiders midway through last season, and proved a big success, averaging just over 12 points a game. Raiders head coach Gavin Love said: "It's great to have Anthony back in Plymouth again. "He's worked really hard over the summer and he's looking forward to being part of the new team here." Rowe started his playing career in the Raiders' junior development system, before moving to North Georgia State College on a scholarship in 2005. After graduating from North Georgia, the forward joined French side Cognac in July 2009, but left shortly afterwards to join up with the Raiders in November. Rowe said: "Our team is filled with the potential to do really good things this season, and I am very excited about being a part of it. "I want to play a big role and contribute in a number of areas to benefit this new team."
