Pelous faces a month out of action |
Toulouse lock Fabien Pelous will miss the Heineken Cup semi-final against Leicester after picking up an injury. The France captain strained knee ligaments in his side's 22-6 defeat by Bourgoin on Saturday.
"It looks like he'll be out for at least four weeks," said Toulouse physio Christophe Foucaud.
It is a big blow for Toulouse, who face Leicester at the Walkers Stadium on Sunday 24 April for the right to meet either Stade Francais or Biarritz.
Wales captain and Lions tourist Gareth Thomas expects to be back for the game after recovering from a broken thumb, though. He said in his BBC Sport column that he could have returned to action this weekend, but that Toulouse's medical staff advised him to wait a few more days.
