Who will be lifting the Heineken Cup this year? |
Leicester's Heineken Cup semi-final against Toulouse will be held at the Walkers Stadium on Sunday 24 April. The Tigers earned the advantage of a neutral English venue courtesy of a comprehensive victory over Leinster in Dublin last weekend.
The Tigers are set to share the Walkers Stadium with Leicester City Football Club from next season.
Stade Francais and Biarritz will play each other the previous day in the Parc des Princes in Paris.
European Rugby Cup Ltd will provide all four sides with a marketing budget to help attract as many supporters to the games as possible.
However, Leicester are unlikely to have any problems packing out the Walkers Stadium.
Around 10,000 Tigers supporters travelled to Dublin and immediately after the match Twickenham was being mooted as a possible venue.
The 10th Heineken Cup final will be staged at Murrayfield on 22 May and Leicester are chasing a fourth appearance in the showpiece.
They lost to Brive in 1997 but claimed back-to-back titles in 2001 and 2002, with victories over Stade in Paris and Munster at the Millennium Stadium.
