Well, I think you could call my Lions experience so far a real up-and-downer - I didn't get a text so didn't think I was in the squad!
I'd just finished training with Toulouse and felt like saying: 'Let's get over it and carry on with life, I haven't made it and it just wasn't meant to be'.
I rang my wife and said I wasn't on the tour as I hadn't received any phone calls and she said: "What are you on about? I've just seen your name on television!"
I went from being really down to on an absolute high, and it was superb to see 10 Welsh players in the tour party.
It's important for all of us to enjoy it and be happy, but we also need to think about the Welsh boys who didn't get in the squad.
We didn't get this far ourselves, it was as a team, we couldn't have done it without the 40-odd guys in the Six Nations squad.
The toughest task for the coaches and captains on this tour will be to ensure that same team spirit is with the Lions.

There's no-one prouder to be a Welshman than me, but all the guys who play regularly with honour for their country need to put that aside and play for Britain and Ireland.
I'm sure I'll be back to full fitness in time for it all, as my broken thumb continues to heal well.
I was hoping to play this weekend, but the medical guys told me that for the sake of a couple of days I should rest it.
That means I should be fine for Toulouse's Heineken Cup semi-final in Leicester on 24 April, and I just can't wait to get back in action.
