Redruth failed to build on an early lead as they capitulated under intense pressure from Sedgley Park. A converted Mark Bright try and Aaron Penberthy's penalty put the Reds 10-0 ahead after the opening exchanges. Sedgley responded with vigour as Richard Tafa, Danny Birchall, Matt Riley, Chris Wilkinson and Steve Nutt went over to put the home side clear. The Reds fought back bravely, reducing the deficit to only 10 points with a brace from flanker Tom Duncan. Redruth now head to Blaydon on Saturday (19 March, 1400 GMT).
