Cornish Pirates secured third place in the Championship with a scrappy win over Doncaster at Castle Park. A converted try from centre Tom Luke and two penalties by full-back Rob Cook saw the Pirates take a 13-6 lead at half-time. Doncaster's sole try came late in the second period from Ed Jackson, with Christian Lewis-Pratt converting. The result means both teams go into Pool B of the promotion play-offs where they join Bedford and Rotherham.
