Pirates had too much for fifth-placed Nottingham |
Cornish Pirates got back to winning ways on Sunday scoring six tries in a 40-0 victory over Nottingham that leaves them third in the Championship. A pass by Jonny Bentley on 13 minutes put winger Grant Pointer under the posts for the first try, Kyle Marriott also crossing before the break. Pointer grabbed a second after the restart, before replacement Rhodri McAtee ran in two of his own. Skipper Gavin Cattle also forced his way over from two metres.
