Ramsey were knocked out of the Cheshire Vase at the semi-final stage on Saturday, after losing 17-7 away at Winnington Park.

The Manx side trailed just 7-0 at half-time to the side who sit fourth in South Lancs/Cheshire Division One.

A second-half try from Lance Wyllie, converted by Ben Harding meant Ramsey trailed by just three points with minutes to go.

The home side scored at the death to book their place in the final.

Winnington Park will now face Dukinfield in the final.

Meanwhile, Vagabonds B kept their 100% record in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield with a 33-17 win over Ramsey B.

Elsewhere in the Shield, Castletown clung on to beat Douglas B 13-12 and Southern Nomads thrashed Emerging Nomads 81-0.
