Esher coach Mike Schmid ready for Rotherham return
Schmid left Rotherham to join Esher in 2005
Esher head coach Mike Schmid says he his looking forward to returning to former side Rotherham on Saturday.
Schmid spend eight years playing with the Titans, winning National League One (now The Championship) three times.
Schmid told BBC Surrey: "There's a bit more of an edge for me. I really enjoyed my time there.
"We played in the Premiership three times in eight years. The rugby was always fantastic and they've got a great support base there."
Schmid admits his side will have to repeat their display in the final 20 minutes of their previous Championship match against Plymouth Albion if they are to beat Rotherham.
Esher fought back from 10-3 down to draw 10-10 against Plymouth.
"You've got to play with your head on, be in the right areas of the pitch and be confrontational," he said.
"We've gone there and won before so it's not a fortress.
"We have a 'no excuses' culture here so we need to be in every game."
