Arscott joined Worcester from Bristol in the summer. |
Worcester head coach Richard Hill says full-back Tom Arscott is beginning to show the Warriors fans just what he is capable of. Arscott scored two tries in Sunday's emphatic 48-3 win over Esher, one of them a spectacular break from inside his own half. "Tom did a huge amount of running and some great counter-attacking," Hill told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "He had to show great energy. I thought it was his best game so far." Hill says he was also impressed with second-row Graham Kitchener, who also crossed for his first try of the season. "Graham is enjoying getting his hands on the ball," said Hill. "You can see all the forwards are getting their hands on the ball and making breaks. "It's about time the forwards got on the score sheet though with all these backs scoring." The Warriors suffered one set-back, however, with centre Rob Higgitt picking up a knock after coming on as a replacement. "He could be out for four to six weeks with a knee injury," said Hill. "After losing Greg King to injury we have lost two good centres, but we are not worried about it as we have someone who can come in and step up and do as well."
