Paul Hull was impressed by the performance at Moseley
Bristol head coach Paul Hull believes his side have kick-started their season after a battling 13-13 Championship draw at Moseley.
Hull had expressed his anger after three successive defeats.
"We'll be disappointed with not taking maximum points but this was a massive stepping stone for some of the younger players," he told BBC Radio Bristol.
"I think everyone could see that they were committed, they really wanted to win and put their bodies on the line."
Hull conducted an inquest following the home defeat by Doncaster and was clearly impressed by the players' response at Moseley.
"There's a lot of work gone in, a lot of soul searching. Some of those young guys stood up and really put in a powerful, physical performance," Hull added.
"We asked a lot in training and the boys delivered. The commitment, physicality, passion and emotion in the game was great."
George Watkins and Mako Vunipola scored tries for Bristol while Adrian Jarvis added a penalty.
