Esher head coach Mike Schmid says his half-time team talk was the key to their comeback against Bristol in the Championship on Saturday. Esher trailed 17-10 at the break but ran out 29-27 winners. Schmid told BBC Surrey: "Bristol probably thought they could come here and walk it. In the first half we let them do that. "I pointed out a few things we needed to improve. I did that fairly vocally, but we got the reaction we wanted." He added: "I think we sat back and respected Bristol a bit too much rather than worry about our game. "It was a bit of an emotional half time speech. We just played with confidence in the second half, which was the difference. "Nobody would have though we'd be competing with the big boys. To win a game like that is unbelievable. "Our standards and expectations are of full-time rugby players, even though we're not."
