Vagabonds Ladies crashed to an emphatic first defeat in RFUW North Division One on Saturday, going down 74-0 away at Team Northumbria Ladies II.

The heavy defeat sees the English side move one point above Vagabonds at the top of the table.

Vagabonds coach Darrin Cook said: "They are a very strong side indeed and we can't complain with the result."

The Manx side will now have a long break before facing third placed Morpeth Ladies in April.

Cook continued: "The players are very aware that we need to bounce back from this quickly, if we want to achieve promotion."
