Vagabonds Ladies finished 2009 unbeaten

Vagabonds Ladies will start 2010 with one of their sternest tests of the season against second-placed side Team Northumbria Ladies II.

The Isle of Man side finished 2009 unbeaten and currently lead the Northumbrian's by four points in Division North One.

Coach Darrin Cook said: "They're a very well-organised team but we will be fully committed and want the win."

Vagabonds narrowly edged the home fixture 10-0 earlier in the season.

Cook continued: "We are missing some key players but we play as a team and hopefully we can extend our advantage at the top."

The Blaydon team have two strong performances under their belts already this year and have won both convincingly.
