Newcomer Lloyd Taggart won round four of Manx Mountain Bike Club's Winter XC Series in thick mud at Archallagon Plantation on Sunday. The top three were all new to the event with Peter Bradley claiming second and fastest lady Jackie Lee third. The quickest rider on the day was Ronan O'Toole but with the maximum handicap he finished fifth overall. Meanwhile, Nick Corlett took another fine victory in the 12-16 class and Matthew Draper won the 7-11 age group. The next round of the Winter XC series will be held on Sunday 14 March.
